This privacy policy explains what information this website, wataruito.com, may collect and how I use it.
I run Wataru’s Web Lab as an individual from the United States. The site provides browser tools, web experiments, articles, and occasional personal notes. It does not offer user accounts, paid subscriptions, or a member area.
Information this site collects
This site may collect basic usage information automatically when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit.
If you contact me through the linked contact form, the information you submit there is handled by the form provider. I use that information only to read and respond to your message.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, browser type, device type, and referring websites.
Google Analytics is disabled by default. It starts only after you choose Allow analytics in the consent banner. If you choose Reject, this site does not load Google Analytics or send analytics data.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics and removes Google Analytics cookies that this site can access.
I use analytics information to improve the site and understand which pages are useful. I do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.
